3 Dr Johnson’s Buildings is looking to recruit a Third Six Pupil from October 2019 to undertake Family and/or Civil work.
We are a friendly and diverse family and civil chambers with a strong history of recruiting tenants from third six pupils. Third six pupils are allocated a mentor in both areas of chambers work.
We have an open door policy within chambers and we pride ourselves on having a supportive environment for junior members of the bar. We highly value pupils and third six pupils in chambers and strive to ensure that we do all we can to ensure that they become the best advocates that they can be.
Applications
Please send a CV and covering letter to pupillage@3djb.co.uk with a minimum of two references from recent pupil supervisors and two examples of written work, suitably anonymised. Please also provide an anonymised print out of your diary during the time that you have been undertaking advocacy in your second six, to show us the types of cases that you have been undertaking and the frequency in which you have been on your feet. Please ensure that all applications have been sent by no later than 4pm on 8th August. We anticipate interviews to take place in first half of the week of 12th August.
Applications will be treated in confidence and will be objectively assessed against our marking criteria.
