Remote hearings: just because a matter can be heard remotely does not mean it must be
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the social distancing measures, the Family Courts have had to adapt quickly to this unexpected landscape to keep hearings going when possible. While hearings are still proceeding, these are at large conducted via telephone or video hearings through platforms such as Skype or Zoom.
