Amy Stout, appointed to Recorder

Chambers is delighted to announce that Amy Stout has been appointed a Recorder with effect from 18th November.

Amy will sit to hear family cases on the South Eastern Circuit where she has been sitting as a Deputy District Judge since 2022. 

At 35 years old Amy is one of the youngest Recorders in the country and chambers is very proud of her for this achievement at such an early stage in her career.

Amy will continue her busy practice at the bar, where she has been ranked in the Legal 500 and described as "a sterling advocate who is unflappable under pressure. Her cross-examination technique is fantastic.
