The Last Princesses of Punjab
Indira Varma, Ayesha Hasan, and Shazia Haider-Shah participated in a community outreach project as part of Historic Royal Palace's exhibition 'The Last Princesses of Punjab.' Their contribution was a video interview in response to the question: "what does resistance mean to you?"
Within their conversation, they spoke about their respective journeys to the Bar and the individual struggles they faced as South Asian Women. They also explored what the word 'resistance' means to them and the influence this may have had on their practice at the Family Bar.
The exhibition is open at Kensington Palace until the 8th of November 2026. If you are interested or would like to see more information, please visit the Historic Royal Palace website: https://lnkd.in/ev3AhV_h
